Matthew
Agriculture and Research & Development Team Leader
Our Agriculture Team at Dunbia witness first-hand the hard work and positive actions taken by farmers across the UK to produce our quality and sustainable British beef. We caught up with Matthew Rollason to find out more about his role as Agriculture and R&D Project Team Leader at Dunbia.
What does your role to involve?
My role is to support the delivery of Dunbia’s agriculture projects, working across our various sites in the UK, as well as getting out on-farm and attending industry events. This involves working with farmers and industry bodies to promote the sustainability of the beef supply chain in areas such as animal performance, efficiency and meat quality.
How long have you worked at Dunbia?
I started here in 2019 as an agriculture graduate and have been here for over three years now. After completing the programme, I became the Agriculture Projects Team Leader. I have a degree in Agriculture & Animal Science BSc (Hons) from Harper Adams University and in my spare time I am actively involved in the beef cattle industry, as well as breeding pedigree Hereford cattle.
