Agri Initiatives
Agricultural research and development is a fundamental part of our business activities. We believe to improve agricultural production and practices in a sustainable way, in-depth and constructive research and development is necessary.
In order to support the agricultural industry and stay up to date with the most recent developments, we participate in the following initiatives;

- INSTEP Management training
- AFBI Shaping Livestock Farming for 2030
- Ulster Young Farmer of the Year
- Knowledge advisory event, CAFRE
- Queens University Belfast- Agriculture Symposium
- Young Farmers Clubs of Ulster- Exchange programme
- Support of Wales Young Farmers Club – judging events throughout the year, as well as hosting receptions at shows, supplying meat for BBQ’s and supporting local events
- Farm to fork and Walk the Chain Experiences – we have programmes in place at each site to deliver knowledge transfer events
- Discussion group meetings – We run a network across the UK for informal meetings to update farmers on trade and other topical discussions
