Reporting to the HR Manager, this is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly professional team within an interesting and dynamic environment with the responsibility for generalist HR advice and support.
Main Duties
- As part of the HR Team, develop and implement site plans that will meet the business needs.
- Support the implementation of policies and procedures: talent and succession planning, performance management, disciplinary and grievance
- Analyse HR metrics to understand areas of focus and work with the HR Manager in making continual improvements
- Providing HR metrics and HR reports as required
- Supporting site recruitment and selection processes from writing job adverts and liaising with recruitment agencies, to collating applications and interviewing
- Ensure stringent right to work checks and responsibility for tracking visa expiry dates.
- Obtaining all work-related references.
- Support with the administration of contracts of employment and statements of change, and letter writing
- Maintaining personnel records including making file notes, ensuring all relevant employee data is kept up-to-date.
- Ensuring knowledge regarding employment legislation and HR best practice is up-to-date
- Supporting and promoting charity fundraising and employee engagement initiatives.
- General HR administration and support with any ad hoc HR projects as required.

This is an opportunity for someone who has previous HR experience and enjoys working with people. You will be part of a successful HR Team who support each other to achieve exceptional results.
CIPD Level 3 is preferred, CIPD Level 5 would be desirable, however an individual working towards or at least the desire to pursue either of these qualifications is essential.
Core hours are Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm.
