Dunbia has hosted teachers from schools in Clitheroe and Grindleton to their factory in Sawley to showcase employment opportunities for young people in the Lancashire area.
Teachers from St Augustine’s CE and Ribblesdale High School in Clitheroe and Bowland High School in Grindleton were given a tour of the factory and an opportunity to speak to young employees who are currently working through Dunbia’s Butchery Academy Training Programme.
Mr Stephen Crozier, Group Operations Manager for Dunbia welcomed the three schools: “To mark National Apprenticeship Week, Dunbia is proud to highlight employment opportunities to St Augustine’s, Ribblesdale High and Bowland High School. Our award-winning Butchery Academy and our apprenticeship programmes provides excellent opportunities to young people to enter the work-place, earn as they learn and develop a long-term career with Dunbia. We already employ former students from the three schools and look forward to welcoming many more in the future.”
