Royal School Dungannon has announced a sponsorship agreement with meat processor Dunbia for the school’s 1st XV Rugby Team.

Dunbia has supplied kits for the team who will play Carrickfergus Grammar or Strabane Academy in the 2nd round of the Dankse Bank Schools Cup on 9th January 2016.

Karen Birnie, Dunbia Marketing & Communications Manager presented the jerseys to team captain, Peter Doran: “Dunbia is delighted to sponsor the Royal School’s Rugby Team and we’d like to wish them every success in the Schools Cup.  We have strong links with Royal School Dungannon with many of their pupils forging long-term careers in Dunbia and we value our ongoing partnership.”

Dunbia is the Official Supplier of Red Meat to Ulster Rugby and has Ulster Captain Rory Best as their Brand Ambassador.

“Dunbia are proud supporters of Ulster Rugby and we see our sponsorship of RSD as a continuance of our commitment to the development of rugby in Ulster.  Peter Doran, RSD Team Captain is on the Ulster U20 squad with a very promising future ahead of him.  We are looking forward to seeing him line out in the senior squad in the future.”

Mr Gareth McClintock, Head of Boys PE & Rugby thanked Dunbia for the sponsorship: “We are delighted with Dunbia’s sponsorship of our 1st XV.  To have the support from a company of the calibre of Dunbia is invaluable not just in terms of supplying the kits but to use throughout the school as an example of professionalism, integrity and hard work and what these principles can bring both on and off the rugby pitch.  On behalf of Royal School Dungannon, I would like to thank Dunbia for their ongoing support.”
