Dunbia’s Deputy Chief Executive has been awarded an OBE in the New Year’s Honours List for services to the Agri Food Industry.
Following the announcement, Mr O’Neill who is also Chair of Northern Ireland’s Agri-Food Strategy Board commented:
“I feel very privileged to receive this accolade for services to the agri-food sector in Northern Ireland. I have worked in the industry for over 20 years and it is something I feel very passionate about. The agri-food sector is not only a crucial part of our economy, it also makes a very important contribution to society overall, and I am committed to helping the industry reach its full potential. I hope that the work carried out by the Agri-Food Sector to date will be continued on by the NI Assembly and look forward to seeing the industry reach meet the ambitious growth targets set out in the ‘Going for Growth’ report.”
