Young Farmers’ Clubs of Ulster, Northern Ireland’s largest rural youth organisation, are delighted to launch a new 5-year platinum sponsorship with Dunbia.
The announcement of the long-term commitment is built on the foundations of a current partnership between the YFCU and Dunbia, the largest meat processor in NI. The YFCU are proud to continue to build a strong working sponsorship with Dunbia and look forward to the great opportunities of growth for both organisations.
The partnership will facilitate excellent opportunities for YFCU members, encouraging education of the supply chain and meat processing industry by providing guidance, knowledge and expertise through workshops, competitions and support.
Dunbia will also continue to be the named partner of the YFCU Schools Programme, which will see the development of Farming Clubs centred around creating opportunities for young people to engage in extra-curricular activities focused on rural life, through their schools.
Peter Alexander, YFCU President commenting on the continued sponsorship with Dunbia:
“The YFCU are delighted to have secured a long-term sponsorship deal with Dunbia . We look forward to working with Dunbia on the “Live to Dead competition” and many other exciting initiatives over the coming years. I would like to thank them for their continued support of the organisation.’
Claire Windrum, Agriculture Account Manager commenting on the continued sponsorship between Dunbia & the YFCU:
“Dunbia are proud of the long-standing relationship with YFCU and are delighted to continue their platinum sponsorship commitment for a further five years. Supporting the next generation of farmers is a core value for Dunbia, underpinned through knowledge transfer and innovation and with the agricultural industry facing significant environmental challenges, this relationship will play a key role towards driving positive, meaningful change. There is a full range of exciting activities for the upcoming year including virtual Live to Dead events, participation in both the YFCU Schools Programme and the Agri-Food Conference as well as offering top tips through our ‘Dunbia Insider’ articles. As the drive for normality continues, we very much look forward to a time when we can welcome members back to our Dungannon site, for the popular and engaging series of Live to Dead events.”
