Following the launch of their new ONE360 graduate programme in January 2016, Dunbia has welcomed its first seven graduates to the company.
The graduates from Queen’s University, University of Ulster, Harper Adams, University of Lancaster and CAFRE have completed an induction week at the food manufacturer’s headquarters in Dungannon and will now take up positions in various sites across the UK.
Mr Jack Dobson, Dunbia Executive Director welcomed the graduates: “Dunbia has invested heavily in developing our new ONE360 Graduate Programme to give our new graduates an excellent opportunity to begin and grow a career in the agri-food industry. We have appointed 7 excellent young people with drive, motivation and enthusiasm to the Dunbia team and look forward to seeing their careers flourish as Dunbia continues to grow and develop.”
The ONE360 Graduate Programme is a two year programme designed to give graduates practical commercial experience with ongoing mentoring and support, management development training and industry-recognised qualifications.
“The overall aim of our ONE360 programme is to develop Dunbia managers for the future and key to its success is ensuring that our new graduates are fully supported throughout the 2 years,” explains Mr Steve Beck, Dunbia HR Director: “Our graduates have been assigned mentors from our senior management team who will provide guidance to them as they progress through the programme.”
Following their induction week, the graduates will take up positions in Dunbia Dungannon, Sawley and Llanybydder for three months before they rotate to other sites and departments across the company.
“The ONE360 programme will give our graduates a complete overview of the company after which they will continue to develop and progress long-term careers in the discipline most suited to their skills,” adds Mr Beck.
