At Dunbia we are continuously monitoring the Coronavirus situation as it continues to evolve, and we are working tirelessly to keep our workforce safe, maintain employment and ensure our consistent quality, sustainably sourced meat products are reaching frontline personnel, essential service providers and the wider community.
The health and wellbeing of our staff is of paramount importance and we have progressively enhanced the stringent protections previously in place, in keeping with the latest recommendations from the Government & Health authorities.
Our employees are playing an essential part in keeping the nation fed. We are extremely grateful and would like to thank each and every one of them for their continued hard work and dedication and with their support, we will continue to create better food naturally.
To ensure we can continue to process the meat products our communities need, all our sites continue to operate, but have adjusted their ways of working to protect everyone’s safety and well-being.
Since the coronavirus outbreak began, we have implemented additional cleaning and sanitisation routines, focusing on high-touch surfaces, and have taken steps to restrict all non-essential visitors to our sites. We have reinforced social distancing, hygiene and exposure guidelines with all our employees, and we have suspended all non-business critical travel at this time.
As family owned company Dunbia has a long tradition of supporting charities and giving back to the communities where we operate and even more so during these unprecedented times. From the vulnerable and elderly, to local food banks and homeless shelters, our sites have been donating food products and essential supplies to a variety of local community groups and charities, all of whom are working together with us to support those in greatest need.
Food chain workers, including those involved in production, processing, distribution, sale and delivery of goods and who want a test will be able to book an appointment directly at https://self-referral.test-for-coronavirus.service.gov.uk/
