Dunbia are one of Europe’s leading food processing companies, who have a desire to produce better food naturally. There are 12 sites across the UK and Northern Ireland with over 4,000 employees.  At Cross Hands we have one of our three large retail factories with close to 800 employees, where the meat is received from the Abattoir, and it’s prepared and packaged ready for the shelf at most UK major retailers.

Each site has a full corporate services team including HR. In addition there are many Group roles like this that sit behind the sites supporting them where required but mainly participating in projects.

What you’ll do

This is a brand-new role reporting into the Group Recruitment Manager who is based at Cross Hands. It’s been created to support with the administration and co-ordination of our emerging long-term strategy to recruit internationally as well as domestically.

Main Duties

  • Posting advertising campaigns
  • Support with the reviewing & shortlisting of applicants for interview
  • Arranging Teams/Zoom/WhatsApp interviews
  • Scribing minutes for interviews
  • Arranging/sitting in on weekly update meetings for calls with recruitment partners
  • Collating documentation relating to CV’s and applications
  • Supporting with the Certificate of Sponsorship platform
  • Reviewing candidate packs in readiness for visa applications
  • Assisting with Visa applications
  • Maintaining our documentation within the Teams platform
  • Sharing documents through our one-drive with partners
  • Ensuring that we have all documentation in place for audit purposes
  • Completing the offer/contract process
  • Ensuring compliance with the UK Home Office Sponsorship Licence

The Person:

  • Have strong administrative experience in a fast-paced environment
  • An understanding of HR administration e.g., Putting a new starter HR pack together
  • Have an ability to pick up processes quickly, using computer programmes and producing high quality accurate work. This includes Microsoft office packages e.g., Teams
  • Be able to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally, over the phone and written, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Have an ability to create and maintain good relationships with both candidates, our partners and colleagues, with an understanding of the importance of confidentiality, showing diplomacy skills
  • Strong team working skills are essential
